Today, our CSA Customers received lots of Okra and Green Beans, Baby Watermelons, Colorful Bell Peppers, Banana Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers, and Lemon Cucumbers.
This was such a cute picture. Dylan is a great brother, always taking time for the younger guys. In the background are the kids teepee’s, they are so creative. They cut down the trees and built them all by themselves. They even bought the sheets from the thrift store. So much fun!
With school starting back, we are trying to get back into the routine of things. So I thought I’d share this idea with y’all. This is a Gold Star Chart that I dug out. As you see, when the kiddos do all their chores and report back to me so I can check them off, I give them a star. 21 stars equal a date with Mom or Dad to Cherry Berry. This includes their quick clean-
Dylan – Boy’s Bathroom
Alyssa – Empty the dishwasher
Daniel – Vacuum
Timothy – Sweep the porch
Abigail (Alyssa’s Buddy) – Empties the silverware out of the dishwasher.
It also includes their extra chore. We divide the house into zones (see flylady.com) and then divide the zone between all of us. It works out great. A lot of hands make light work for all! 🙂
